Another wonderful Madison tradition: Concerts on the Square. Every Wednesday in the middle of summer, the Madison Chamber Orchestra puts on a free concert at the Capitol. Tonight was their 2008 debut, marking the start of their 25th season. The theme for the evening was Gershwin & Friends and about 20,000 people turned out. We packed a picnic and enjoyed the evening with friends.

Who else has big sunglasses and smiles like that while sitting next to her husband? Hmmm... Anyway, Glad you're enjoying some classical music!
On a completely random note, I'm thinking of buying a video camera. Does Matt have any suggestions? I'll be going with a model with an internal hard drive and tons of memory. Other than that, I'm open for recommendations. (I'd send him an e-mail, but I'm at work and can't get into my address book.)
