It was beautiful in Madison, so we started with a nice long bike ride. Here are some seagulls on Lake Monona.Our friends Ryan and Day had a few people over for an afternoon cookout. They are always great hosts, and doubly fortunate for us today, they also have a very patriotic-looking home.
Then just the four of us were off to the city of Monona for some carnival fun and fireworks...
